Having sat silent for over a year with the country locked inside, sports stadiums and venues are open again. The end of year test matches, or the Autumn Internationals as they are known, return after a watered-down European Nations Cup in 2020.
For the first time in 20 months, Twickenham – the home of English rugby – will be at full 80,000 capacity as fans return to Southwest London to see England’s rugby boys back in action.
Possibly the greatest aspect behind rugby union (or egg chasing as it’s sometimes ironically referred to) is that it is renowned for leading by example, the game mirrors life itself with its five core values, its unwritten code – integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect.
You may still feel a little uncomfortable or worried when it comes to heading out to a game. Masks are still advisory for outdoor events where large crowds gather, but All English Things have everything you could need to stay safe whilst still enjoying your day out at the rugby.
Responding to the needs of the lingering threat of the Covid-19 pandemic, why not get prepared for your trip to Twickenham with one of our reusable face masks, ideal for any occasion.
Eddie Jones’ side face the best the Southern Hemisphere has to offer as Tonga, Australia and South Africa visit HQ during November.
Speaking of our friends Down Under, maybe you’ll be watching the visit of the Wallabies from the comfort of your own home – if so, why not dust off your finest bottle of Australian Shiraz especially for the occasion?
Here at All English Things, we have the perfect, appropriate accompaniment for the occasion – you can have the best of both worlds with our great wine cooler in the shape of a rugby ball.
Maybe you’re looking for the ideal gift for a rugby-mad relative, perhaps you want something for your bachelor or bacheloress pad or are you the England-supporting husband wishing to watch the Autumn Internationals in peace? You might not know the slightest thing about drop goals, scrummaging, line outs or breakdowns, and simply want to buy something for the rugby fan in your life.
So whether you’re going to the game live, watching it in the pub with friends or at home, we’re set for all the exciting rugby action with the Autumn Internationals only days away.
